          Filipinos love eating, it might be at home, in the streets, in a fast-food chain or in a costly restaurant. This is the main reason why there are so many restaurants and fast-food chains that appears nowadays. But when it comes to eating, there is only one name that appears first in every Filipino mind, Jollibee. Jollibee has been part of our lives since we were kids until our old age. BANANA: ALL YOU WANT

Every Filipino eats banana, it is a very common fruit to us, but not just that, don’t you know that banana can be served in many different ways? Well, you better believe it. Most banana recipes are affordable, yet delicious. You will never have a hard time preparing it because it is very easy. Here are some recipes that I will share to you. Hope you’ll like it and be able to serve it not only in your family but in your friend also.

BANANA SMOOTHIES

A banana smoothie is a desert that you can eat anytime of the day. Banana alone can make you feel relaxed because it contain vitamins which science says that it is effective to make you happy and be in the good mood for the day, but you will be more relaxed and refreshed if you will make banana smoothies. It is very easy to prepare and very affordable. Below are the ingredients needed to make banana smoothies and how to prepare it

INGREDIENTS:
            Frozen Banana
            Milk
            Sugar

HOW TO PREPARE:
            Mix everything in blender. Blend it and wait for a minute until it smooth. You can also decide to add more milk and how sweet you want it to be.

There you have it, a refreshment that is so easy to serve and also very affordable. You can enjoy banana smoothies with the rest of your family.


MINATAMIS NA SAGING (BOILED BANANA IN SWEET SYRUP)

Craving for dessert yet you don’t have enough budget to buy 1? Well, here’s a recipe made for you this is called Minatamis na Saging. You can buy this ingredient for preparing this recipe anywhere in the Philippines for it is a very well- known delicacy in our country. It is easy to prepare and for sure your family and friends would enjoy eating it with you. If you are interested in this recipe, here’s what you need and what would you do to prepare it.

INGREDIENTS:
5pcs. Saging na Saba
4/4 cup Brown Sugar
2 cups Water
2 teaspoon vanilla extract

HOW TO PREPARE:
Boil water in a cooking pot. Add brown sugar and stir wait until in diluted. Add salt and vanilla extract then mix it well. Put the ripe plantain banana and reduce fire to moderate wait until the liquid thickens.

A banana recipe you can cook whenever you want it, this is easy to prepare and the ingredients used to cook it is very cheap yet, you can come up with a very delicious food which your whole family can enjoy when it is done perfectly. INGREDIENTS:
Lumpia Wrapper
Ripe Banana
White brown sugar
Cooking oil

HOW TO PREPARE:
Cut banana into two vertically and wrap it. Fry it in the hot pan. Add sugar to make it sweeter and wait until the wrapper became golden brown.


BANANA CUE

A commonly known delicacy here in the Philippines that can be eaten during breakfast, snacks, or even for merienda Banana cue is eaten not only by kids but also by kids at hearts. This local banana recipe is commonly sold by street vendors or even at some restaurants. Here are the steps for preparing banana cue and the ingredients that it requires:
INGREDIENTS:
            15pcs. Banana Saba
            BBQ Sticks
            2 ½ cups of brown sugar
            Cooking oil

HOW TO PREPARE:
            Heat the cooking oil in the pan. Add brown sugar until it melt and put the banana saba, wait until the melted brown sugar coats the banana then use thong to get the cooked banana and skewer it in a bbq sticks.
